A Tremendous Relationship
It must have been over 7 years ago that I first met Danny, and for many it will probably be a shock because it was on a Friday afternoon on a golf course.
It was a four ball and I had never met two of the players before, which normally means a difficult round for all, because my golf is a disgrace and to enjoy playing with me you really need to be able to freely swear obscenities in my general direction.
What I remember most about the ‘game' was the complete acceptance I felt from all three other players throughout the day and on into the evening for a few beers (plus Frogs legs!).

In 2001 Tyche Group (AKA Bridgewater) was born and I was so pleased to ask Danny to give our first baby some classy character and he far surpassed our expectations. The design fitted every aspect which we were trying to portray and generated much praise from all directions. In particular it addressed our main concern of giving strength and security to a brand new finance company.
5 years on we were facing a slightly forced re-branding exercise and having developed many very good relationships in Hong Kong, our home town, we agreed to start the design process with our appointed computer and web site company.
However, whilst they were excellent in their work, they were not designers or artists. So I headed back to Danny feeling a little ashamed, although strength of Sing$ to HK$ was a pretty good reason for starting closer to home.
This time the requirements far exceeded the original remit because having lost our original name which had achieved some notoriety in HK with enormous efforts going into media (esp TV), we were not looking for something as good as the first, but much better.
As a company we had grown and matured enormously and I did wonder if we had out grown Danny and Adwright with our success. Well, after some over zealous lack of delegation from us, we finally told Danny and his team to just open their minds and produce a perception that they were truly proud of.
I knew they could do something better than our constricting ideas had allowed, but the final result exceeded our expectations by such an incredible margin. What we now have can stay with the company for good as far as I'm concerned, the team met every one of our objectives and more.
The whole company received a lift from just how good we looked. It has been a great experience for our respective companies, in separate business areas, in separate countries, to have progressed together like this.
-------------------------------------------
The design is undoubtedly great, but there is a side to our relationship which is worth so much more. On many occasions I have referred to Danny and his team asking for favors which are often outside of his business areas, but he is always such a positive influence and undaunted in his desire to help us.
Yes, the main job is creating the design, but almost as helpful throughout is the marvelous attitude his entire team has developed. They are so willing to help in any way they can.
The latter cannot be seen from viewing their designs, and it is extremely rare in any kind of business. From Ad.WRIGHT!, it is there in abundance and I am very cautious in making referrals, but I would never hesitate in recommending Danny and his entire team.

Thank you Ad.WRIGHT! and especially Danny. Mutual trust and friendship in business is the best possible result from such interaction and makes ones working life a real pleasure.
