MTU Asia - Diesel Engine Manufacturers (Asia)

MTU Asia, one of the world's largest manufacturers of diesel engines, asked us to create a web site to support their Asia regions and partners.
The project entails replicating the German HQ's huge Typo3 CMS (content management system) web site and localizing the content for the Asian regions.
Although Germany already have a language control between Deutsch and English, the system would not have been efficient when dealing with more than one language.
Ad.WRIGHT have suggested using a multi site version allowing for content to be added in different languages in the same page. This cuts down on duplication of content when a country does not have fully translated text and uses a mixture of 'foreign' language, English and localized English.
Phase one is to roll out the English version, with subsequent versions in Mandarin, Japanese, Indonesian, Vietnamese and Thai.
MTU are using our full translation and localization service, inconjuction with our expertise in Branding we hope to produce high quality regional sites while adhering to Germany HQ's strict Brand guidlines.
