Overview

The Singapore American Community Action Council (SACAC) is a non-profit, volunteer-based, organization established in 1973 by a concerned group of parents with the intent to provide recreational activities and counseling to the community.

Challenges

The old SACAC website used to contain only information alone. Previously during the start of sports seasons, SACAC’s office would usually swarmed be parents and individuals. There were difficulty in coordinating and answering to enquiries. A website containing a booking system needs to be created to reduce the admin work needed and facilitate workflow.

Results

The new website allows members to sign up for sports programs online, bringing about convenience. A lot of paperwork is saved as membership feedback and other admin procedures can now be done online. Membership fees can also be synced across to SACAC’s financial database, allowing easy tracking of the finances.
